Story & Lesson Highlights with Jason Ramirez of Phoenix

We recently had the chance to connect with Jason Ramirez and have shared our conversation below.

Good morning Jason , we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
What I’m most proud of building is my fashion page Godmirez. It’s not just a personal brand, but a movement. It’s about connecting with people all over the world who share the same vision. Every conversation, every piece of content, every collaboration isn’t just about style, it’s about soul.

This isn’t just about clothes, it’s about connection. It’s about leaving fingerprints on hearts I may never shake hands with in person.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m a men’s fashion content creator, working with brands like Givenchy, Michael Kors, and Moschino. My style is about more than just clothes—it’s about confidence, presence, and storytelling.
Through my content, I connect with people around the world who share the same passion for style and self-expression. Every look I create is a blend of high-end influence and personal edge, designed to inspire others to own their image and step into their power.

This is more than fashion, it’s a movement.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who taught you the most about work?
My immigrant parents. They came to this country with nothing but found a way to give me what I needed to succeed in this country. They taught me that there are no excuses and that anything is possible as long as you work hard and believe in your dreams.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
That the road to heaven feels like hell, and the road to hell feels like heaven. The right way will always cause you pain. Life will break you to see if you’re really about it. Once you prove you are then the universe will reward you.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
I would say, truth. I respect truthful people and people who always do the right thing even when it’s hard. There are many corrupt people out there and I respect the ones who don’t bow down to society and maintain truth.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. Are you doing what you were born to do—or what you were told to do?
I was born to create. I believe I’m making my way in this world with Godmirez. I’ve always had a creative mind and I believe I’m slowly waking up to my purpose and will eventually become it.
