We’re looking forward to introducing you to Grace Noel. Check out our conversation below.
Grace, a huge thanks to you for investing the time to share your wisdom with those who are seeking it. We think it’s so important for us to share stories with our neighbors, friends and community because knowledge multiples when we share with each other. Let’s jump in: What makes you lose track of time—and find yourself again?
Travel is one of my favorite things ever! Nothing makes me feel better than getting away, finding new places, trying new foods, making friends, and rediscovering myself along the way. It’s really helped me to get out of my comfort zone. There’s nothing quite like it, and it’s truly rewarding. I’m always losing myself in the moment, and there’s nothing else that makes me feel so present.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, I’m Grace Noel, but most people call me Gracie!
I’m 20 years old and the founder of Grace Avery Designs, a creative studio I created to help small businesses show up with confidence and clarity! Whether it’s a brand-new startup, a passion-fueled side hustle, or a full-time biz, I specialize in building visual identities that actually reflect the heart behind the business.
What makes Grace Avery Designs unique is how personal and intentional the process is. I believe branding should feel exciting, not stressful, so I work closely with each client to create designs that are clean, elevated, and totally aligned with their vision and values. Think: thoughtful strategy meets aesthetic magic!
I started this studio because I’ve always been drawn to creativity, storytelling, and helping others bring their ideas to life. Right now, I’m working on expanding my services, growing my community, and continuing to support small business owners as they chase their dreams!
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
My mom, hands down. She’s truly my rock. Our family has been through a lot, but she’s always been there, supporting me every step of the way. She’s the Lorelai to my Rory!
She actually came up with the name Grace Avery Designs years before it ever became a real thing. She believed in me before I even knew what this dream would look like. I love her so much and honestly have no idea what I’d do without her!
What have been the defining wounds of your life—and how have you healed them?
Losing my dad at a young age was one of the hardest and most defining moments of my life. He was truly my best friend and one of my biggest supporters, right alongside my mom. Losing him so suddenly was incredibly painful, but over time, it shaped me into the woman I am today.
Through that loss, I’ve learned some of the most important lessons: that family isn’t just who you’re born to, you can choose your people. That you should always say “I love you” and mean it. And that nothing in life should ever be taken for granted. His memory is still such a big part of my story, and I carry his love and support with me in everything I do!
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
Definitely relationships and my faith. I care deeply about the people in my life and try to show up with love, encouragement, and loyalty, always. My relationship with Jesus is at the center of everything I do, it’s my foundation, my peace, and my purpose!
I try to live that out by being present for the people I love, celebrating their wins, walking with them through the hard stuff, and always choosing kindness. Whether it’s praying over a friend, sending a voice memo just to check in, or reminding someone of their worth, I want the people around me to feel loved, seen, and supported at all times!
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What do you understand deeply that most people don’t?
It’s okay to have off days. It’s okay to struggle, to feel overwhelmed, or not to have it all together. You don’t have to be perfect, and you’re not meant to be.
One of the wisest women in my life, a dear friend and mother figure, reminds me often to take it one day at a time. That simple reminder has carried me through so much. We’re all human, and there’s so much strength in giving yourself grace and asking for help when you need it!
