We recently had the chance to connect with Emmanuel Allen and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Emmanuel, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Although my career is in the fitness industry, my greatest joy comes from my family. I’m blessed with a beautiful wife of 25 years, a 25-year-old son, and a vibrant 3-year-old daughter. I’m also an author, and I’m thrilled about the upcoming release of my newest book!
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My passion for helping people transform their lives runs deep—it’s who I am at my core. Years ago, I faced my own turning point. I was carrying over 70 extra pounds and battling high blood pressure. But I made a decision: to take back my health, my energy, and my life.
Through consistent fitness, better nutrition, and a complete mindset shift, I not only lost the weight, but I also reversed my high blood pressure and stepped into the best version of myself. That transformation sparked my mission—helping as many people as possible create lasting change in their health and lifestyle.
Today, that mission extends beyond coaching. I own a supplement business with over 30 products designed to support fitness, nutrition, and overall well-being—tools that empower people to achieve their goals faster and more effectively.
I believe fitness isn’t just about looking good—it’s about living free, strong, and full of life. My motto says it all: “Let’s Make It a Habit, Let’s Get Fit!”
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
The relationship that has most shaped how I see myself is my marriage. It’s the only relationship where two people truly become one—and that’s not always easy. Merging two lives requires humility, compromise, and growth. Through that process, I’ve discovered both my strengths and my weaknesses, as well as the incredible power of teamwork.
I’ve carried those lessons into my business, because I believe everyone needs accountability and support to succeed. That’s exactly what Fit-Habit was created to provide. Our 3 A’s of success—Accountability, Accessibility, and Affordability—are designed to help people stay committed, get the guidance they need, and make lasting changes that fit their lifestyle.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Last year, I was in a serious accident that caused severe damage to my neck, spinal cord, and lower back. As a personal trainer, it was devastating—not just physically, but emotionally and professionally. I fell into depression because I couldn’t work out like I used to. I had to endure neck and back injections, pain medications, and months of therapy. My business suffered, and I even gained weight myself.
But in the middle of it all, I remembered why I started. That reminder reignited my purpose and gave me the determination, drive, and discipline to push forward. I completed my therapy, rebuilt my strength, and refused to let a setback stop my comeback.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Whose ideas do you rely on most that aren’t your own?
As a born-again Christian and a business owner in the fitness industry, I rely on God’s wisdom above all else. My approach to business isn’t built on my own ideas, but on the values He’s instilled in me—integrity, humility, meekness, patience, and passion in everything I do. God has given me a spirit of excellence that guides every venture I pursue. I call this business godliness—allowing His character to shape the way I serve, lead, and succeed.
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I pray that when people speak of me, they remember my passion for serving and helping others. I hope they talk about my compassion and how I poured into people selflessly—whether it was to help them grow spiritually, financially, emotionally, or physically. My desire is to leave this world completely emptied of everything God placed in me, having shared every resource and tool for transformation I carried. More than anything, I want people to be able to say, “He completed his assignment.”
