Right now I’m learning from myself

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hello, my name is cle’ph, singer songwriter from Fort Greene Brooklyn, NY. Born and raised. Doing doing music most of my whole life. I love creating, love performing and seeing people’s reaction to a song especially if I wrote it, always the best feeling. I’ve performed alot of places , casinos , concerts, and etc.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
The relationship that shaped me i would have to say is the relationship I had with my kids mother. I have 2 teen daughters. That really showed me how I can love unconditionally for another person even more once I had my girls. It really taught me how to care and love even more , you know. It taugh me responsibly

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yes, I had times where I wanted to give up the music. Those thoughts comes and goes especially when times get hard BUT for me its moments I look back and say I never actually gave up. So why do it now

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
I would say that the biggest lie lie that my industry ( music ) tells me is that you can’t be yourself, you have to have a gimmick or what not to make it and that’s not necessary true. That’s how I feel

I feel most at peace when, I’m with my people’s, When I’m spending time with my girls, when I’m creating a EP or Album with my team. I’m at peace when I’m alone in my apartment and I get to write the type of songs I wanna hear. I’m at peace when I met the woman of my dreams and get married, she becomes my peace
