We recently had the chance to connect with Alex Chacon and have shared our conversation below.

Alex, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: Have any recent moments made you laugh or feel proud?
Proud moment: I ended last week on a high note, we are now a team of 4 in the office after expanding just about 4 months ago. 4 months ago we hired our first in office employee and rented brick and mortar for my marketing business. Its surreal that I have been able to get my business to this point and It was definitely a proud moment!

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Alex Chacon, Im a digital marketer and creative in the North Scottsdale/Cave Creek area. My business does everything from Social Media Management, Website Design, Digital Marketing Solutions, SEO, and of course Video, Photo and Graphics. We also offer very unique AI tools to help business take their marketing and administration to the next level.

I started my business about 7 years ago as a photographer and videographer and have now grown into a full pledged marketing agency currently serving 20 partners.

What makes my story special is that I started my journey as a musician/creative and ended up being an entrepreneur and digital marketer. I never really knew this was the direction my path would take me but I am enjoying it immensely.

I owe my community everything, they really gave me the chance to make this all happen, and I owe it to them to be the very best I can be.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
In my early 20s I was really struggling with depression and anxiety. My body and soul was screaming at me to do something different and to change who I was, and really it was the pinnacle of the transformation that made me who I am today.

I sought out solutions to fix my problems and that led me to follow my dreams, which gave me the confidence to face each day, and each new venture with passion and drive.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
There are certainly some tough days, and If I said there wasn’t days that I wanted to give up, I would be lying. When you have a tough day, you fight to the end and try to leave whatever made it bad in the past. Life certainly is a wave of a good days and bad days, knowing that the bad days are only temporary, keeps me going.

The world today is tough, and it takes consistency everyday to get to where you want to go. I will not give up for me, but I will also certainly not give up for my family or my community either.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. Is the public version of you the real you?
I have had many people in my community and professional network say that one of their favorite traits about me is my authenticity. As a creative, there is something very important about that for me.

I really strive to be good, and provide an integrity first service. Don’t fake, don’t wrong anybody, stand up for whats right always, and your mind, spirit and conscious will be clear.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
If I only had 10 years left, Im not sure I would stop anything Im currently doing.

This question is interesting because it gives me some perspective to the life Im living. I get to do what I love, I get to be with the people I love, and I get to serve my community everyday and everyday my business grows.
