Salman Hasan of Phoenix on Life, Lessons & Legacy

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Salman Hasan. Check out our conversation below.

Hi Salman, thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
I’m most proud of building the media and broadcasting company that I’ve started over a year ago. Most people see what is in front of them and what stories are published, but don’t see all the work that goes into producing and publishing all the stories and narratives we put out there.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Salman Hasan is a consulting and media professional with 10 years of experience in the areas of consulting, program management, strategic communications, and relationship management. Salman is a diligent problem-solver, relationship builder and cross-functional social media manager. He supports large and mid-scale clients in transforming business outcomes to deliver value.

As the founder of Kufi Productions, shaping the vision, strategy, and overall direction of all productions is vital to the success of the team. Primary responsibility is to lead and inspire the talented group of filmmakers, journalists, researchers, and creatives, fostering a sense of belonging, collaboration, and inclusivity.

Kufi Productions seeks visionary, forward-thinking leaders passionate about creative storytelling, unbiased journalism, cultural preservation. We aim to make profound impact through the power of media, uncovering untold stories, shedding light on important events, and providing a voice to the voiceless. We believe in the transformative power of storytelling and forging meaningful connections between all walks of life.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
The moment mainstream media began their biased and inaccurate coverage of the Middle East activities since October of 2023, I knew the world isnt at all what mainstream media portrays it as.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering taught me who really have your best interest at heart and helped me identify those who only want to be by your side during all your success.

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Is the public version of you the real you?
I try to be as authentic as possible, but certainly draw boundaries between my private and public matters

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. If you laid down your name, role, and possessions—what would remain?
My ethics, perseverance, and my actions. I hope that all my actions are positively impactful and lead to the betterment of humanity. I hope that all my actions lead to life and love, not destruction and hate. The world has been plagued with hate and destruction and my wish is that everyone’s eyes are opened to see that this life is short and temporary and motivated to make the world a happy place to live in
