Rising Stars: Meet Zalaiya Nefwani

Today we’d like to introduce you to Zalaiya Nefwani.

Hi Zalaiya, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I have loved expressing myself through creative ways since I was a little girl.

From having photoshoots when I was 8 years old, to attending modeling school at 16, to starting my own YouTube channel because I feel most comfortable in front of the camera! I feel most comfortable in creative expressions.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I definitely struggle sometimes with confidence. In today’s world with all the struggles social media brings it gets hard not to question who you are at times.

I am creative. I take joy in influencing. I love sharing my knowledge with others. I want to see everyone win. Not a lot of people enjoy sharing the light. I personally stand on there is room for all of us to win.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
Definitely my mother. She has always supported me every step of the day. Whenever I need help on what to do she’s always there.
