Rising Stars: Meet Shawn Smith of Hempstead

Today we’d like to introduce you to Shawn Smith.

Hi Shawn, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hi name is Shawn and I’m a content creator mostly on YouTube with over 200k subscribers. I run the channel “SimplyPops” Since a young teenager (12) I’ve always had a passive of creating content to share with the community. I’ve been so busy perfecting my craft that I never had a chance to experience my love/dating life.

I saw many different YouTube Men improvement channels and subtle across Artlette’s Pop the Balloon series. I enjoyed watching every episode that was released and decided to give BM (the producer of the show) a contact for a part of the show. I was nervous because of the popularity of the show.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
my career wasn’t the smoothest I just learned as I go. In terms of dating It has been a struggle.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a full-time creator on YouTube with 200k subscribers and by far that I’m mostly proud of. I create mostly technology videos occasionally lifestyle and vlogs.

What’s next?
My plans for the future are to continue growing my YouTube channel and online business. I would like to find my soulmate to pass my journey on. Eventually, I would love to move into a larger workspace still deciding if I still stay in New York or into a new state.
