Rising Stars: Meet Samantha Cox

Today we’d like to introduce you to Samantha Cox.

Hi Samantha, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
Mom guilt.

Did those words instantly resonate with you? Because that’s how my story begins!

As a little girl, I always dreamed of what kind of mom I would be. How I would make so many memories with my kids, and always be involved in everything they did. I had an incredible mom growing up, but she worked so much… I remember crying, looking out the window, trying to calculate how much longer until she got home. And when she did get home, she was tired! Rightfully so!

I had BIG dreams of the kind of mom I wanted to be, but when my kids were 2 and 4 years old, I was experiencing MAJOR mom guilt. In Ohio, I was working long hours and as a hairstylist, my clients got the best version of me. I loved my job, but when I got home, my kids only heard, “Mommy is tired, mommy’s feet hurt, maybe later, not right now” And I was feeling terrible about it! There HAD to be more! The struggle shouldn’t have to be so real!

Enter the thrive experience. I heard about a product that could give you energy and I KNEW that’s what I was looking for! I had heard of products and plans that help with weight loss, but when I heard ENERGY, I knew that’s what I needed to be the mom that my kids deserved! I immediately ordered, and after a few days, I wasn’t craving coffee anymore. I was waking up BEFORE my alarm. I was organizing closets that were neglected for years, and my husband wanted to know, “Who are you, and what have you done with my wife!?”

I noticed myself NOT getting irritated when my kids were putting together a puzzle on the kitchen floor while I was making dinner, and after only 4 days of using Thrive, my 4-year-old daughter asked me when I was tucking her into bed, “Mommy, are you going to be this happy tomorrow?” I KNEW I couldn’t keep this product to myself. I made the simple decision to be a promoter for this product and help other moms get their happiness back!

In August of 2019, after 4 years of thriving, my husband and I experienced a life-changing moment, where we had to make a huge decision for our family. We made the DIFFICULT choice to move our family, across the country, from Ohio to Arizona, for a new start for us, and our kids. Talk about a leap of faith! We drove across the country in our car loaded down with all the clothes and necessities we could fit and started OVER.

There is no way this would have been possible without my cloud-based business! At the time, what we were experiencing was heartbreaking and difficult to navigate, and I am so grateful that when life was hard, I KNEW I was still able to earn an income by helping others, from anywhere I chose to work.

Moving to Arizona was a God thing for SURE. One of the first things we did here, was found a church! A quick Facebook group search led me to a church through a person who was also “thriving”, and we found our church home! I began to grow a relationship with Jesus, and my daughter and I were baptized together in November of 2019. I always say, God didn’t move mountains for me, but he moved me to the mountains so that I would find Him!

Along with my faith growing by leaps and bounds, my marriage became stronger than ever. Going through difficult times and moving across the country is NOT for the faint of heart, and it wasn’t easy, but it was totally worth it! Again, God played a huge part in that. God brought me some of the best friends I have ever had, through The Thrive Experience! I have met some incredible mentors and friends that I never would have met if it weren’t for taking a chance on a product that started with needing energy!

We have lived in Arizona for almost 3 years now and WOW has it been the best years of our lives! My kids have the mom they DESERVE! We go on adventures often camping, paddle boarding, hiking… anything you could imagine outdoors. We have totally rebuilt a life that we never knew we were missing out on, all because of a PRODUCT!

Why WOULDN’T I want to share that with the world!? Starting over isn’t easy, but it is much easier when you’re quite literally thriving in life!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Simply putting my story into words has been a challenge in itself, I actually have not shared this much of my story with many people! OF COURSE, there were many obstacles along the way! Starting over in a BRAND NEW state, with no friends or contacts to reach out to, is NOT easy!

As the hairstylist in the town we lived in, in Ohio, I had plenty of contacts to chat with about my product and my business opportunity. But starting over in a whole new state… going through some family issues that were deep… it wasn’t easy to just go out there and make new friends! I started slow, I integrated myself into the church and met friends through my kid’s friends’ parents, made friends with neighbors, and eventually found my PEACE and my PEOPLE here in Arizona!

One of the things I love about Arizona is that MOST people aren’t from here! SO it’s easy to make new friends because being a transplant is incredibly relatable! I have been able to not only rebuild my business here but rebuild my entire life, all thanks to a product and a business that is literally life-changing!

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a promoter for a health and wellness product called thrive! Thrive is a simple 3 step nutrition program that you consume within the first 20 minutes of your day. Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Starting something new, and starting over, are both things that I’ve had to experience!

My advice? DO NOT give up on something you are passionate about! You’re not passionate about it for no good reason, you’re passionate about it because it’s your CALLING! If you’re consistent and you’re passionate, there is no other option than to be successful.
