Rising Stars: Meet Ron Fingers Tropiano of Phoenix

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ron Fingers Tropiano.

Hi Ron Fingers , we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started playing music in upstate New York. I have always had great listening ability playing along with the radio, recordings,etc. I began playing various instruments and chose the bass. I have performed with numerous bands,artists and have extensive touring experience.
I played the east coast relocated to Phoenix Arizona and played the west coast and Europe. I write original music and that is my focus now.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There have been many obstacles and struggles. Personal and Professional,Health,Family,Money,Relocating,etc.I have a strong work ethic and push through the hard times.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a freelance bassist. I am very versatile in many different genres of music. This sets me apart as many musicians stay in one style of music such as Jazz,Rock,Blues, Country, etc. I am most proud of that because my original music is versatile as well. I have a large catalog of original music.

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
The most important lesson I learned was to believe in myself and never give up.
