Rising Stars: Meet Nancy Brito

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nancy Brito.

Hi Nancy, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
In the summer of 2020, I found myself laid off from my Job of 6 years thanks to world pandemic. Feeling confused and a little lost I walked into my monthly facial appointment. My Aesthetician casually mentioned that she was looking for a licensed individual to rent out one of her studios. With my heart racing, I shared with her that I was a Licensed Aesthetician but quickly threw in that I was so not ready to go all in but I knew a lot of Esties that could be interested.

Thankfully, my girl didn’t let off the hook that easy and she said “why don’t YOU take the room!” I was super hesitant and after about 20 excuses explaining why I wasn’t the one, I put a little faith in myself and agreed. When I went home all I wanted to do was call her and cancel everything! Lol

I’m glad I didn’t. Today, I can’t see myself doing anything else.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road has been everything you could expect from unexpectedly starting a business with no money, no clients, and no idea how to run it…in the middle of a pandemic! There’s countless struggles to this day, but I made much time to sit and round those up. I’ve just been absolutely amazed at all the support from my family and help from my fellow Esties in the industry. I’ve grown my clientele and kept the lights on, so, I really just count the blessings.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a Licensed Aesthetician, certified in Lash Lifts, Brow Lamination, Body Contour, Dermaplane, and more.

In the weeks, I will be adding Nano-infusion & microneedling to my menu.

I specialize in Facial treatments for acneic, aging, and hyper pigmented skin.

I’m so proud to be a Spanish speaking service provider (my Mom always said being bilingual would pay off). It fills my heart to bring quality, professional treatments to my community without the language barrier.
