Rising Stars: Meet Monique Daigneault of Phoenix

Today we’d like to introduce you to Monique Daigneault.

Hi Monique, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I have a diverse story that has led me to where I am today. Having a background of childhood trauma prompted me to delve into the world of personal development over 35 years ago. That was also the time when I started my career in the corporate world. I was 22 years old and a single parent. I immediately realized that the workplace was filled with toxicity, poor leadership, and unhealthy behavior. As I continued to work on myself and develop professionally, I fine tuned my path and became an Executive coach. I now work with corporate executives to help them shift their behavior, especially if they too have been traumatized in their past. My mission is to create healthier, safer workplaces. Through my business I provide coaching and a book and podcast for corporate leaders.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road has not been smooth. I have struggled emotionally as I worked through my trauma. I also struggled as I left my corporate job to start my business. But these struggles have honed my skills of resilience, problem solving, critical thinking, and self care.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am an Executive Coach who works with corporate leaders. I also have a published book and successful podcast that are resources for my clients. My trauma has become my niche – it sets me apart from other coaches because I have specialized tools, techniques, and insights that other coaches do not have. I am proud of my brand and how I’ve accumulated over 8000 hours of coaching leaders who are in need of development.

Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
I am an avid reader and podcast listener. I gravitate to any book or podcast that relates to self help, business, corporate behavior, or leadership.
