Hi Makaela, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Hello everyone, I’m Makaela, the founder of Fuel IV Therapy

Fuel IV Therapy was born out of my deep-seated passion for holistic healthcare. My journey began in childhood with frequent hospital visits due to ear infections and asthma, which meant relying heavily on antibiotics. As a teenager battling endometriosis, hormonal birth control exacerbated anxiety and minor depression. These experiences instilled in me a desire to explore alternative healing methods.

In 2019, a serious car accident further spurred my quest for natural healing. Despite undergoing conventional treatments, including therapy and consultations with various specialists, I felt compelled to research holistic healthcare. This led me to explore practices that aligned with my belief in healing the mind, body, and spirit holistically.

Having graduated with a degree in Health Care Administration and a minor in Entrepreneurial Studies in 2023, I was poised to pursue my entrepreneurial ambitions. Inspired by a mentor’s suggestion, I immersed myself in researching IV therapy as a potential business endeavor. What resonated most was the opportunity to offer IV therapy not just as a treatment, but as a vehicle for educating others about holistic health practices.

It’s incredibly rewarding to hear from our clients how our services have transformed their health and well-being. Each success story reaffirms my passion and dedication to spreading awareness about holistic healthcare through IV therapy.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it has not been a smooth road, but I have taken everything that happened knowing everything happens for a reason. I went through a hard breakup, moved my life, and restarted during the process of creating the business. I quit my full-time job and dealt with losing some friends I had. I got a dog during this time too, which was stressful at first. For the business, I faced obstacles, mostly mental ones. I had self-doubt and worried that people wouldn’t believe in me because I am young.

However, despite the struggles, I have had an incredible team and mentor behind me, always lifting me up and coaching me. My mentor told me that when you raise your vibration, things in your life that are not meant to be there will start to get hard or have friction. This is because you will start to attract what is meant to be in your life to get to your goal. I know that everything that happened to me during the time of creating the company was meant to be because it was leading me to my goal.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?

I am the owner and CEO of Fuel IV Therapy, a holistic mobile IV therapy business in Arizona. We are known for providing top-notch service to our customers across the valley and for being your holistic health hub. We not only offer information about IV therapy but also educate individuals on how to heal their mind, body, and soul naturally.

One unique aspect of our service is that we include glutathione in every single IV bag. During the creation of the business, I read “The Glutathione Revolution: Fight Disease, Slow Aging, and Increase Energy with the Master Antioxidant” by Nayan Patel. After understanding the benefits of glutathione, I knew it was essential to incorporate it into all our IV bags. Our IV bags are completely natural, except for one, for which we have an alternative. We do offer medicine, except for one, but we ensure there are natural alternatives available.

Our team consists of highly trained professionals, either RNs or Paramedics, with a variety of backgrounds. What is beautiful about our team is that they all share a passion for holistic health care and centering the customer. This passion makes our team unique. They genuinely care about our customers, ensuring they feel comforted, taken care of, and heard. We love getting to know our customers, many of whom are regulars. This connection with like-minded individuals and providing a service that promotes healing is something I am most proud of.

What sets us apart is our holistic approach, the incorporation of glutathione in our treatments, and our dedicated, compassionate team. These elements collectively ensure that our customers receive the best possible care and experience.

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
Yes!! My favorite app, which helps me keep my frequency up, is called I Am. It is an app that has a widget you can add to your homepage that gives you a variety of quotes and motivational messages throughout the day. I have it on my lock screen and home page. I love looking down at it and seeing what it says. This has helped me in so many situations when I am feeling down or something isn’t going the way I intended. Reading those little quotes really helps me.

I also create vision boards and use them as a lock screen on all my devices. I am a firm believer in manifestation, and by having the vision board on my devices, even when I am not paying attention to it, subconsciously I am putting out into the universe what I want. On this vision board, I have both personal and professional goals I want to achieve by the end of the year or my career. Every time something on there becomes a reality, I take a screenshot of it to remember and then replace it with something else. I can honestly say this has helped me in many aspects of my life, both professional and personal. I started this company in March of ’23, and I am on my third vision board! So I can attest to this 100%.

Another outlet I love is Tony Robbins. I have attended multiple of his virtual events, and I believe this is one of the main reasons I have excelled quickly. Not only does he provide ways to grow professionally, but also personally. My favorite part about attending his events is that even if you have heard the same story or message before, when you hear it a second or third time, you perceive it differently because you are not at the same level you were the last time. I think that is beautiful.

The last resource that has helped me significantly is my mentor team. I have a mentor team of six individuals in different professions (legal, culture, financial, mental, etc.), and each of them is incredible! They have helped me excel to where I am, and I couldn’t have done it without them. Their mentorship has made me who I am today.
