Rising Stars: Meet Leslie Drozt

Today we’d like to introduce you to Leslie Drozt.

Hi Leslie, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My name is Leslie, I’m 27 years old and Arizona is my home. I’ve been here for the majority of my life. I received my associate’s from GCC and then started to find my spot in the workplace. Trying to figure out who I want to spend my time with? Who do I want to work for? My time is precious to me. I lost my mother 6 years ago and it made me quickly realize how much I would value my time moving forward.

I want to enjoy my entire life. Every single second the good and the bad. I want to live my life with intention. So, I stumbled upon Lash Extensions through a friend and that’s where Lash Meow started and where I provide lash extension services. I do plan to expand those services in the near future. Lash Meow is so much more than just a place to receive beauty services, it’s a safe space.

One of my main goals at every appointment is to make each person feel so welcomed and comfortable. It’s a priority for me to make my clients feel this way. It’s my way of showing each person that I’m appreciative of the time they are spending with me. My other job is freelance modeling. I’ve been working for 6 years now meeting new people and getting the chance to be involved in many different projects. I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.

Modeling is my love and I want to hold onto it for as long as I can but creating is my passion. No matter what form I’m involved in, I love to create. A picture, a story, an emotion, a video, a performance, and so on and so forth. I love it all. Meeting all the people involved in these projects is such a big part of it for me as well. These people are my sense of community. These people are my world.

Last but not least my newly discovered love for fitness. My fiancé pulled me into this world and I truthfully had no choice but to adapt. I couldn’t be more grateful for it though. There’s been talk of competing professionally but that’s for later down the road.

When I’m not doing any of those things, I’m hanging with my animals. Two cats and two dogs take up most of my free time. Or catch me at a local house show because I love to disco. I’m really enjoying how I’m currently spending my time and I can’t wait to add a few more businesses into the mix.

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I don’t really think about luck when I think of my life. One thing I can say is if you know me you know I somehow always manage to win concert tickets.

The music gods have been so generous. I think it’s because they know how much music means to me. In another life, I would’ve been a DJ traveling the world.
