Rising Stars: Meet Lavetti Vegas

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lavetti Vegas.

Lavetti, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started comedy in 2019. I did it because a friend wasn’t able to. I bombed on stage. I started writing more and practicing. Since then, I’ve performed in various cities making people laugh.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No. It’s been a rough road. You have to deal with rejection, not getting booked, and being away from family. Sometimes you have writer’s block when it comes to writing new jokes.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Comedian. I love telling jokes and making people laugh. It’s hard to do but when it’s done, it’s magical. I love talking to the crowd during my sets and getting to know them.
