Rising Stars: Meet Kayla Cummings

Today  we’d like to introduce you to Kayla Cummings. She and Her team would like to share her story with us below.

Kayla Cummings created and established Dollz & Queenz Surgery Bar because of her passion for caring, supporting, and educating friends, co-workers, and family members about her personal cosmetic procedures.

Kayla Cummings is a healthcare professional that has served the healthcare industry for a number of years. As such, she is aware that during times of medical changes in relation to the bodily image, the single most important interest is to provide concern and support to the patients being serviced.

As a young woman starting her professional life, Kayla committed herself to always take, the initiative towards completing her goals without hesitation. “Focus, consistency, and being true to self” have always been her values, so that she can provide for others. Kayla is motivated to keep positivity on all levels as life challenges are inevitable.

Kayla is a firm believer that one must sacrifice as the challenge to complete each mission in life is the most rewarding. Her personal motto is “Greatness is in everyone and can be achieved! Dollz & Queenz is the first-of-its-kind surgery bar and talk show created by Kayla to openly discuss all areas of cosmetic surgery or any type of body enhancements one desire.

As a person who has embraced cosmetic surgery herself and has gone under the knife multiple times within the United States, Dominican Republic, and South America, Kayla understands that there is a gap when it comes to a professional platform for the global medical specialty of cosmetic surgery.

Dollz & Queenz is an out-of-the-box platform that welcomes people of all ethnic backgrounds regardless of race, gender, social-economic class, sexual identity or sexual orientation, age of 21+,  who have experienced or desired cosmetic surgery or body enhancements of any kind. This dynamic platform allows the opportunity for one to express their opinions or experiences in an unprejudiced and unbiased way, without providing any sort of justification for it.

Dollz & Queenz is an open SOGIE platform that allows heart-to-heart talks and deep insights into some subjects that are needlessly considered social taboos while providing ongoing or additional education about cosmetic surgery or body enhancement procedures.

Dollz & Queenz promotes, supports, encourages, and educates all “Dollz & Queenz” alike so that they are confident while embracing who they want to be and always feel comfortable in their own skin.

5-Kayla is a licensed nurse, mentor, and host of the Dollz & Queenz Talk Show who has developed the capability to obtain advice and direction from other professionals in the healthcare industry.
6-Kayla has previously hosted events and been a model for various events in the entertainment industry.
7-CEO/Founder/Host of the Dollz & Queenz Bar Talk Show.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not a smooth road by any means. There have been lots of bumps, detours, one-way, and redirecting tactics that had to be done in certain circumstances.

1-The ability to trust your brand, your business, your vision and gaining understanding from others. Hence, just the thought of other businesses focusing only on their gains that your company can produce for them….’what your company can do for them.’ Spiking costs, exceeding and overselling their products, etc.

Let me clarify that in regards to costs: Being honest as to cost-effectiveness. It appears the light shines brighter or people’s eyes get larger and the $$$$ signs appear larger once they realize you are a business! In my opinion, it degrades the services that I am requesting to pay the company/business for. I say this because sometimes it removes the quality yet puts the business owner myself in a predicament d/t the fact that we are vetting their business because I need the service they provide. I feel sometimes this can be a disadvantage. Sometimes businesses will give you some of the same price breakdowns as larger companies d/t the direction of the work is the same. However, not being attentive to the fact that your margin is smaller. The need for the goods or services may not be to the magnitude of a larger company or corporation.

2-Communication. Finding an effective way to communicate your requests to others can be challenging. With all the hustle, social media, and technology challenges. Everyone seems to be in a hurry to get to the next thing. I remember speaking with different customer service reps or advisors about specifics related to my brand and it seems they finish my sentence before I get it started! I have to make a statement/notion to slow them down and tell them to allow me to introduce myself! (In the words of Jay Z!)

3-Challenges: Social Media, It’s WORK! Also getting my brand out there in the metaverse… Allowing people to get to know me and my talk show…My goals, objectives and to join the show! I guess you could sum it up and say Branding!

I love what I do! I love talking, listening, and mentoring people. I love good energy only!!! I deter negativity or negative individuals. Life is worth living, loving, and laughing about! I love people!!!!

3-Establishment of the ‘Dollz & Queenz’ Platform for being a business owner. Being able to fulfill one of my life long passions is to mentor, be a mentor, influencer, and educate others. As a young child growing up, I was always asked to entertain whether it was speaking, singing, or dancing for others. I’ve alway been on some type of committee, board or a part of organizations. I’ve always loved the challenge, and energy needed to complete tasks. “Getting the job done efficiently.”

I was always an entertainer growing up. I used to sing, dance and speak bars(rap) back in the day. I’ve always been on some type of committee, board, or a part of organizations as president, as a speaker, etc. I’ve always loved people’s energy!

4-I am true to me which allows me to be true to you…(This is what sets me apart from others) I am a truly genuine individual that has a love for others.

We’d love to hear what you think about risk-taking.
Risk: To pursue my life, meaning…Not worrying about how it gets done, just do it! Set your mind, heart, and soul into it with GOOD INTENTIONS and PRAYER! Accept and maneuver the humps and bumps that come along with it. NEVER GIVE UP! Of course not if it means death. Let us be realistic about it!

I’m taking a chance on ME! That’s the real risk…It’s all about ME when it comes to my business and or brand! Meaning It’s the energy I project to others about my brand.
