Today we’d like to introduce you to Jules Arballo.
Hi Jules, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My story has been anything but linear, much like most of life’s journeys. I first stepped into entrepreneurship with a brand that became my creative playground. It was a space where I poured my love for writing, photography, drawing, and design into one mission: spreading positivity and encouraging people to shape their lives through the power of perception. I truly believed (and still do) that the way we see life is the way it unfolds, and that we hold the power to shift it whenever it doesn’t align with what we want.
At the time, I was deep in my self-development journey, devouring and applying lessons from books like “Think and Grow Rich”, “The Secret”, and “The Magic”. That business didn’t last forever, but it gave me my proudest milestone: writing and self-publishing my very first book in 2015, “30 Days of Motivation to Success”. Becoming a published author had always been a dream of mine, though I never knew exactly when or how it would happen.
Less than a year later, another dream came calling: opening a coffee shop. I’ve been a coffee lover since I was four years old (yes, really!), and after countless nights spent studying and writing in local cafés and Starbucks (hard confession to make) during college, I fell in love with the idea of creating a space of my own. My mom and I made that dream a reality with 3’s Co. Coffee Bar, the very first local coffee shop to serve the Laveen and South Phoenix communities. We built an amazing community during our six successful years in business, and fun fact: Voyage Phoenix actually interviewed us back in those early days! Closing the shop was bittersweet, but it was the right move to honor our next chapters.
Even while running the coffee shop, writing was always calling me. In 2021, I released the Intentions Journal, a guided journaling process I had created through my own healing and growth journey. When we closed the shop, I poured myself fully into finishing a book I had been writing since 2019, fittingly titled “Next”. I published it in 2022, and it taught me more about writing and publishing non-fiction than my first book ever could.
Over the next couple of years, I worked at other local coffee shops in barista and management roles, but I could feel the pull to go all-in again. This time not just for myself, but for other women with powerful stories to tell. Through coffee, through friendships, through chance encounters, I had met so many incredible people with stories that deserved to be shared. That inspired me to create a 90-days to published author program, which led to the collaboration book “Unveiled Reflections: Women’s Narratives of Releasing Inner Power”. Guiding five powerhouse women, most of them not even writers when they began, through the entire process of writing and publishing was deeply rewarding. We accomplished everything I set out for us, and the ripple effect of that book reminded me just how powerful storytelling really is.
That experience inspired me to write again myself, and in June 2025 I released my newest solo book, “Leading Beyond the Horizon: How Purposeful Steps Create A Lasting Legacy”. It took longer than expected due to life, trips, events, client projects and workshops, but it was worth every second. Along the way, I’ve had the honor of helping multiple authors at different stages of their writing journey. Most projects have been nonfiction, and every story impactful.
Now, I’m bringing everything full circle. My very first online course is launching to take aspiring authors from idea to complete manuscript in 30 days or less. A program designed to help even more writers achieve their dream of becoming published, sharing their story, and leveraging the incredible opportunities that come with being an author.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Absolutely not! The road has been full of curveballs, detours, and plenty of surrendering to the unknown. The most beautiful part is realizing that even the hard moments were part of the bigger picture. X had to happen to get me to Y, which then led me to Z; every challenge has been a stepping stone.
One of the biggest reminders I’ve had is to focus on what I can actually control, while staying flexible about the rest. You can (and should) have a plan, but clinging too tightly to how you think it should look only sets you up for frustration. The outcome almost always shows up differently than expected (and often better) so I’ve had to practice loosening my grip and embracing the process as it unfolds.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in impact. That’s the heartbeat of everything I do. In fact, when I rebranded my company in early 2024 to Impact Strategy Solutions, I didn’t even realize how perfectly the name reflected the core drive behind my entire journey. Looking back, “impact” has always been the thread, long before I officially stepped into entrepreneurship in 2015. It’s always been about: How can I be of valuable service to the people I teach, guide, or simply cross paths with? It’s what my latest book is all about too, creating a lasting legacy not just in your business, family, community, or friendships, but just in your simple everyday actions.
Through the years, I’ve developed my core values by both leading and being led. I’ve learned how to honor them, how to speak up for them, and most importantly, how to lead by example rather than just “talk the talk.”
Yes, on the surface, my work looks like helping aspiring authors go from idea to published in 90 days or less. But at a deeper level, what I really do is guide people back to believing in themselves, in their voice, their abilities, and their potential for success, as much as I believe in them. I’m known for asking the deeper questions, the ones people often avoid but need to face, because those are the very questions that unlock confidence, clarity, and character.
Other than my well-known obsession with coffee, I’m most recognized for my work around intentions. The Intentions Journal isn’t just a product, it’s an extension of my identity and the message I repeat daily: we create our lives with intention. When we choose to live intentionally, we shape our future without losing sight of the present moment. And when we practice gratitude and love consistently, even just taking five minutes to reflect on the past so we can create the future, that’s where true power and rapid growth come from.
That’s what sets me apart: I don’t just help people write books. I help them write the next chapter of who they are becoming.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
My boyfriend/partner Matt Proud has been one of the biggest supporters and mentors since we met early 2024. My mom is a huge advocate for everything I create and has implemented the Intentions Journal into her daily routine as well which led to her rapid growth and evolution. It’s really special to see a parent in their growth journey. I am grateful to also have a circle of long-time friends who became clients/customers and vice versa. Also, a shoutout to the silent ones. We don’t always know who we are impacting or making an impression on, but there are those who talk highly of me and my journey behind my back. The support isn’t always upfront and center. Then we have the unofficial mentors, the high-achievers I have studied over time, learned from, implemented their teachings into my life.
