Rising Stars: Meet Jennifer Reynolds

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Reynolds.

Hi Jennifer, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, let’s briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
To bring you up to speed on my life, it will involve mentioning where my company is in 2023; We have two new retailer expansions in Arizona and nationally. The new projects we’re involved with involve two strong Arizona retailers, Sprouts Farmers Market, and Whole Foods Market. Last fall, we expanded our spice line-up on the meat counter at Sprouts to include our Roasting Rub and our Award-winning Steakhouse seasoning. We have had a long-standing relationship with Sprouts for over a decade now. It is great to expand our offerings to their customers. So now Sprouts has 5 of our 6 spices at the meat counter, near the burgers and sausages. We couldn’t be happier. We are launching three grilling and cooking sauces in all Whole Foods in Arizona. They are slated to hit the shelves in June 2023. So your readers will be able to get their hands on 3 of our sauces and 5 of our spices regularly at their local stores. Since everything we make is gluten-free and vegan, it just fits so well. We’re super proud to have these new partnerships. The creative side of food, cooking, and creating recipes is a big part of why I do what I do. People need help in the kitchen. Only some people are into cooking as much as I am. So I help. I want to be there and provide ideas and uses they may have yet to consider. It makes my day to help in this way.

Alright, let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
My obstacles and challenges involve getting out of my way. I am a doer, so I have my hands on many things that would be better for our team to handle. The other challenge related to my company is that even after 23 years in business, not many people know of our brand. I know it is changing because we are growing like crazy right now. People are learning who we are.

We all have different ways of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Success for me is a life well lived. I make the most of every day. My business is growing, and it’s wonderful to see. It makes me happy that through Sauce Goddess, I can change and improve the lives of so many people through the meals they can make and enjoy. That is a big part of life, literally feeding ourselves. As I mentioned, I enjoy cooking and teaching others to cook and be creative in the kitchen. I can spend time with loved ones and enjoy the experience of being present in every moment. That is a success, to enjoy life and love and be loved. A life well lived.
