Rising Stars: Meet Jade Myles

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jade Myles.

Hi Jade, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I have been taking pictures all my life. I started taking courses in high school and that is when everything really took off. Shortly after that, I became a certified photographer while still trying to manage my regular high school courses.

After high school, I continued to take photos but it was not until the tragic death of my sister that made me jump start my own business.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been a smooth road at all. Yes, taking photos and the editing process came very naturally to me, but I had to get into the routine of getting my work out in the world. It can be very challenging when you don’t already have a big following.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a digital photographer and videographer. Although I am currently only certified as a digital photographer, I do projects involving videos all the time.

I am known for being able to capture special moments and not having to do much editing if any at all. I have an eye for quality work and that is something I take pride in. What sets me apart from others is the quality of my work. I love what I do and it shows!

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up.
I have many actually! I can’t really choose just ONE. My family loves to travel around the world and one particular trip that always pops into my head is our trip to Hawaii.
