Hi Heather, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I was offered the opportunity to start my own business almost two years ago and have enjoyed leaping! After 8 years in marketing and 13 years as a professional photographer, I have enjoyed applying my unique vision and skills to help businesses position their brands for more effective marketing.

Would it have been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Going from a securely consistent full-time position to the roller coaster of entrepreneurship is not easy. Still, the freedom and independence make it very much worth the risk. My biggest struggle in the first almost two years of business is treating my business like one of my clients. It’s important to continue branding, marketing, and networking as your business changes and grows!

Thanks for sharing that. Can you tell us more about your work next?
I specialize in helping businesses market themselves more effectively through brand positioning and identity framing. This process of strengthening a business’s foundation also secures long-term content development and marketing campaign planning.
