Today we’d like to introduce you to Gabriel Santellano
Hi Gabriel, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My start to the Real Estate world came about in 2012 when a friend of mine asked me to go in and interview with his firm. He said I would be a great fit. So I did, I got the job and got my license as well shortly after. I became the Director of sales for a large property management firm where I spoke to investors and landlords all day and helped them in making a good decision for their investments. Then I transitioned into the residential sales side of things where I bring that experience to help my clients get a home but also help them determine if that particular property is a good investment for them. I came from New Mexico about 18yrs ago and bring that small town ethics and morals when I work with my clients. I came from very humble beginnings and never forget my roots. My hard work and dedication have always propelled me towards success. I am very thankful and grateful for the past and future clients/friends that I help along the way!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No it has not always been a smooth road. There has always been challenges along the way, marketing had always been my toughest obstacle. Consistent income was tough in the beginning as well. It definitely is not as easy as the media makes out to look, that’s is why so many fail within their first year.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Working with a wide range of clients and helping them create wealth through Real Estate. Working with a client with a budget of 400k or a client with a budget of multi millions, I work just as hard and look out for their best interest!
What do you like and dislike about the city?
Our city has endless amounts of activities/restaurants and events year round. The weather is amazing 9 months out of the year! And I get to meet people from all over the world. It is very tough for me to think about what I like least but if I had to say something it would maybe be traffic during the rush hours, but again not as bad as I’ve witnessed in other cities….
