Rising Stars: Meet Erica Lynne

Today we’d like to introduce you to Erica Lynne.

Hi Erica, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve loved music for as long as I can remember. I was raised on country and pop music and used to spend hours singing along in my room. I dreamed of making my own music but was never exposed to anyone that made music or explored beyond what was available on the radio.

When pandora first came out I heard instrumental hip-hop tracks and other instrumental beats for the first time and fell in love.

This started me on a journey of musical exploration that hasn’t stopped since. I am so grateful to be able to experience all of the amazing creators and beautiful sounds that we have access to today. All of this great music inspired me to travel to music festivals/shows, go to school for audio engineering, and to create my own music and events.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
We all have challenges and obstacles… what’s important is how we deal with them and move beyond them.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I create melodic instrumental music from the bottom of my heart. I call them “melodies made with love”. My music is completely original and made from scratch.

I’m actually currently in the kitchen cooking up another release called “daydreams & night thinks”. Rather than just upload my music and share a link, I’d like to take people on a journey beyond the music… An experience for us to traverse together. What matters most to you? Why?
My loved ones, our health, my music, giving 100% effort and care where it matters, and always striving to be a better version of myself than I was yesterday.

Without my loved ones and our health, nothing else matters… If I don’t give 100% effort and care + strive to be my best then what’s the point?
