Rising Stars: Meet BreAnna Turner

Today we’d like to introduce you to BreAnna Turner.

Hi BreAnna, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
Growing up I was always like the big sister of my friends. I would always encourage and uplift women of all age groups. Going through a lot of different traumatic experiences in my life. Soon I began to realize I didn’t have an outlet to express my emotions.

I started to pray, journal, and work out. God spoke to me and let me know that my stories would help other women who are going through the same thing. That’s when he gave me the brand healing every root ministry (H.E.R. Ministries). I vowed to help women of all ages.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My journey definitely has not been a smooth road. I’ve had many challenges along the way. Being a wife, a mother of 3, having a full-time job, and a Pastor’s wife has not been an easy journey.

Some days I am able to provide a good home-cooked meal other days we have our local pizza place on speed dial.

While trying to prepare for upcoming events and encouraging women who may need advice at a moment’s notice.

God has provided through every challenge I have faced and I have been able to overcome it.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I wouldn’t exactly label myself because I love to call myself the jack of all trades. The reason I say that H.E.R. Ministries is more than just a support group.

It is a group, a business, and a brand. I provide advice for women going through trials in their lives. I created personalized gifts for them at each event. I am most proud that I am able to see these women walk away feeling fulfilled, with a new mindset, and happiness. There are possibly a million women support groups out there but H.E.R Ministries is a family that provides guidance and healing.

We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
I’ve learned to definitely cherish the relationships that I have built with these women.
