Hi Anna, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I grew up in Montana and moved to Scottsdale almost 10 years ago, drawn to the sunshine and opportunities in the medical field. My nursing career began in the hospital setting, where I worked through the height of COVID. That experience was both heartbreaking and deeply transformative—it reinforced my passion for patient care and my desire to make a difference in people’s lives.

While I loved caring for patients in the hospital, I was also drawn to aesthetics and the confidence-boosting side of medicine. I took a “Leep” (my literal maiden name) of faith and pursued training in injectables, combining my clinical expertise with an artistic eye. The journey wasn’t always easy—starting over in a new specialty takes dedication and constant learning—but I fell in love with the industry. I am always encouraged by a challenge and the ever-changing aspect of medical aesthetics makes me fall in love with my job over and over again every day. I’ve had the opportunity to work with so many wonderful mentors and national trainers, continuously expanding my experience and refining my skills in ways I never imagined.

Over the past few years, my career as a nurse injector at Skin Savvy Aesthetics has grown in the most rewarding way, and I owe so much of that to my amazing patients. Their trust, support, and referrals have helped me build a loyal patient base that truly feels like family. Helping people feel beautiful, natural, and confident is the best part of what I do, and knowing that my patients believe in me enough to share their experiences with others means the world.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Like any meaningful journey, mine hasn’t always been a smooth road—but every challenge has shaped me into the provider I am today. Transitioning from the hospital to aesthetics was both exciting and intimidating. It required not only learning a completely new skill set but also building credibility in a field where experience and reputation are everything. In the beginning, there were moments of doubt, wondering if I was making the right choice, but I knew I had found my passion.

Something that makes this industry so unique is that aesthetics requires building relationships and earning trust. In the early days, I poured my heart into education, perfecting my technique, and making sure every patient felt heard and valued.

Slowly but surely, through referrals from happy patients, opportunities from my clinic, Skin Savvy Aesthetics, and my growing social media presence, I’ve built an incredible, loyal client base. Each new patient is an opportunity to make someone feel their best, and every returning client was a reminder of the trust I had earned. Knowing that people were not only happy with their results but also willing to recommend me to their friends and family was the most rewarding feeling. It reinforced my belief that aesthetics isn’t just about injections—it’s about relationships, confidence, and the personalized care that keeps patients coming back.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in a variety of non-surgical aesthetic treatments, including BOTOX®, Dysport®, dermal fillers, Sculptra®, PRF ezGEL, PDO threads, and radiofrequency microneedling. What sets me apart from others is my natural and regenerative approach to aesthetics. I’m passionate about helping my patients achieve their best version of themselves, always keeping in mind the importance of subtlety and longevity. What sets me apart is that my focus is not just on enhancing beauty in the moment, but also on preserving it for the future. I want my patients to continue feeling confident in their skin for decades to come.

What I am most known for is my natural and structured approach to lip filler. My goal is to enhance the lips with a subtle yet defined shape, making sure they complement each patient’s unique facial features. The results are natural, full, and beautiful—without ever looking overdone.

I take great pride in creating personalized treatment plans that cater to each individual’s unique needs, using the most advanced and effective techniques. I believe in creating results that reflect the true essence of my patients, maintaining their natural beauty while enhancing their features in a way that feels effortless and timeless.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up, I was always drawn to both science and beauty—two worlds that seemed so different but, for me, always felt connected. I had a natural curiosity for the medical field, fascinated by how the body works and how medicine can improve people’s lives. At the same time, I’ve always loved beauty and the confidence that comes from feeling your best. Whether it was doing my friends’ makeup, experimenting with skincare, or just hyping people up, I loved making others feel good about themselves. My journey into aesthetics is also deeply personal. I’ve struggled with deep cystic acne throughout my life, and I know firsthand how challenging it can be to feel insecure in your own skin.

The passion for both aesthetics and medicine eventually led me to nursing, where I got to help people in one of the most critical ways—caring for them during their most vulnerable moments. But as much as I loved the medical side, I knew I wanted to merge that with my love for beauty in a way that felt meaningful. Becoming a nurse injector has been the perfect blend of both worlds, allowing me to enhance my patients’ natural beauty while using my medical expertise to ensure safe, stunning results. Looking back, it all makes sense—I’ve always been drawn to helping people feel their best, inside and out.
