Rising Stars: Meet Angelique Wynn

Today we’d like to introduce you to Angelique Wynn. Them and their team share their story with us below:

Angelique Wynn is the second youngest of eight children, born July 22, 1998, to her parents John and Edith Wynn. At the age of 17, Angelique pursued was inspired by her favorite photographer Jasmine Star who pursued her passion for photography.

A year later in 2018 her father John, launched an entertainment streaming platform titled The Wynn Network, as well as a production company, Wynn Film Productions. Angelique work as a programmer for the network managing the movies and shows. She also got the opportunity to learn the basics of filming and post-production as a camera operator, editor, and now director.

With numerous projects under her belt, when Angelique has filmed, edited, and or directed 3 feature films, documentaries, talk shows, reality shows, numerous commercials, and music videos and doesn’t plan on stopping.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Starting in production I was self-taught.

Being self-taught, I’ve always found obstacles or challenges working in production learning editing software, camera equipment, and the industry overall.

But with the help of God leading me and sending mentors along the way new journey got easier.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a director, TV, commercial, and film editor as well as a camera operator. I specialize in storytelling through editing. I am most proud of the recent project I edited and co-directed alongside my father, John Wynn‘s One Hour

We love surprises, fun facts, and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
Before working in production I truly desired to be a baker/chef. I would sit and watch Rachael Ray, Bobby Flay, and Guy Fieri on the Food Network every chance I could get.

I aspired to open a bakery and have a cooking show of my own one day!
