Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexis Randall.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My small business started as a Father’s Day gift for my dad. I happened to post it on social media and a few of my followers were interested in what I had made, I then had the idea that I could actually do more than gift strawberries. I have always loved to bake and thought why shouldn’t I share that love with others!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not always been a smooth road. I started business making absolutely no profit so it has definitely been a learning experience on how to better my craft and business.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I make custom treats for special occasions. Baking and creating chocolate-dipped treats. I don’t specifically specialize in one treat; I love creating them all! I am most proud of how no two orders look the same, I always try to create something new based on what my clients envision. What sets me sort from others is I take my time to create each order so that if looks as good as it tastes.
Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
I love the diversity of the city! There’s is so much expression of every culture and everyone has a place to be themselves.
