Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexandrea Klingensmith.
Hi Alexandrea, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
As a young woman native of Arizona, I had big dreams of becoming a physician assistant because I wanted to help people. I graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelor’s in exercise and wellness. After long and devoted years to my education and externship, I chose a different path. Astonished, I found my passion when I attended aesthetics school. The sky was the limit in the aesthetic field. Not only does it offer endless continuing education courses, but it also fulfilled my passion for helping people inside and out. After finishing top in my class, I had the opportunity to create an aesthetic department in a hormone clinic where I helped manage and retain a great amount of information in naturopathic medicine and bio-identical hormones. Years later, I became a mother and took the risk to have the American dream of owning my own business. I’m proud to stand today as the founder of Skin Remedi, LLC, of almost 8 years.
We all face challenges, but would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
From the start, I took all my previous work experiences and used them as a tool for what to do or not. My biggest challenge was not comparing myself to other aestheticians’ work and not being so hard on myself. When I kept my focus on the clients and their needs, the business continued to grow, and my confidence.
Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m an aesthetician located in Gilbert, Arizona. I’m in a small intimate suite that provides a variety of facials, waxing, eyelash extensions, microneedling, micro-blading, and reiki. I’m most proud of my newest certification of becoming a reiki master. I enjoy tapping into my spiritual side with those who are open to it. I’m committed to always making you feel safe to be vulnerable with your words and beauty needs.
What do you think about luck?
Luck has nothing to do with business. If you take the emotion out of your business plan, you will logically do what is right and move on to the next steps that need to take place.
