Rising Stars: Meet Adam Schiff

Today we’d like to introduce you to Adam Schiff.

Hi Adam, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am originally from Michigan, lived in LA for 31 years, and have now made Arizona my home. I started as a Photo Stylist and worked with clients such as Ralph Lauren, Hugo Boss, Details Magazine, Redbook Magazine, and MTV Beach House. I then moved into interior & exterior design and have worked with many celebrities including Quentin Tarantino, Anne Hathaway, Melissa McCarthy, Goldie Hawn, and Busy Phillips. I have also been featured on HGTV and Bravo‘s Million Dollar Decorator.

My creations encompass every aspect of residential design, Airbnb and rental design, boutique retail design, remodeling, project management, furniture, color selections, lighting, art and accessories to outdoor furnishings, yard art, flowers, trees, plants, planting containers, water treatments, and fire treatments. What drives me and gives me joy is designing beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces that bring tranquility into people’s lives because I love making a difference.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I moved to AZ and then covid hit which could have been brutal bringing my business to Arizona but it wound up being the best move for me. I met wonderful people along the way and my biz is thriving here.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I love modern and contemporary and my specialty is color. I’m very fortunate that my clients give me the freedom to do what I’m great at and as a result, every house that I design is unique.

Are there any books, apps, podcasts, or blogs that help you do your best?
I’ve been doing this a long time so have wonderful relationships with vendors. I go to the trade shows and always have my eyes out for cool and unique pieces to share with my clients. I try to take advantage of every day and make a difference in this world by bringing my colorful joy.
