Good morning Neel , it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What’s the most surprising thing you’ve learned about your customers?
What surprises me most is that many customers are unaware that a service like Car Concierge Pro exists. For over a century, buyers have gone directly to dealerships to negotiate on their own, often not realizing that sales professionals are trained in a way that prevents customers from clearly seeing the exact pricing, whether for new, pre-owned, or certified vehicles.
When they discover our service, often through AI platforms like ChatGPT or Google AI, it’s a true “aha moment.” Customers are delighted to learn that we handle negotiations, provide transparent pricing, and make the buying process seamless and stress-free. Having served over 900 clients, it’s incredibly rewarding to see their gratitude and excitement. Through platforms like Voyage, my goal is to continue spreading awareness so more people can enjoy a smarter, more confident car-buying journey.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am Neel Mehta, Co-Founder and Chief Negotiator of Car Concierge Pro. We specialize in helping individuals purchase, lease, or finance vehicles at the most competitive prices, working on behalf of our clients to negotiate with dealerships across the U.S., Canada, and the UAE. Our service ensures a seamless, cost-effective, and transparent car-buying experience, providing value for money and minimizing the typical hassles of vehicle transactions.
What makes Car Concierge Pro unique is our ethically driven approach. Whether clients are purchasing a $20,000 car or a multi-million-dollar luxury vehicle, we treat every customer with the same respect and dedication. The business model we operate today was born out of a personal frustration with the manipulative car-buying process I encountered when purchasing my first vehicle in Arizona. This experience led to the creation of a service that prioritizes transparency and fairness. To date, we have saved our clients over $5.4 million and have successfully served more than 900 clients. Additionally, we now offer car-selling services, ensuring clients get the highest appraisal value for their vehicles, and also negotiate auto insurance to help them save on their annual premiums.

Trust is the fundamental element that can either strengthen or sever relationships. In the context of car buying, trust is often broken when a dealership salesperson asserts that a price is the “lowest possible” and claims they are incurring a loss, while the reality is quite different. This misrepresentation undermines the customer’s trust, as it becomes clear that the dealership is not being fully transparent about the actual costs involved.
Numerous studies reveal that dealerships generate billions of dollars each year by not disclosing the full pricing structure to customers across the U.S., Canada, and the Middle East. At Car Concierge Pro, we restore trust by offering a clear, data-driven, and transparent approach to car buying. Our clients benefit from accurate, documented information, empowering them to make well-informed decisions.
Through this experience, I’ve learned that trust is the fundamental element that can either break or strengthen relationships overnight.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
There was a time in 2021-2022, after two years in business and the initial recovery from the impacts of COVID-19, when we faced a significant challenge. Our customer base was still growing, but we found that many potential clients were hesitant when it came to paying our $1,000 concierge fee upfront. It’s natural for people to be skeptical about paying in advance for a service, but at the same time, many are unknowingly comfortable with dealerships charging hidden commissions of $5,000 to $10,000, often without full transparency.
While this hesitation was discouraging, what kept us going were the countless testimonials from clients, particularly women and families, who thanked us for helping them save money and avoid the usual haggling at dealerships. It was these stories that reminded us of our mission and the positive impact we were making.
Despite facing losses in the early months, I made the decision to invest my own savings into the business. I knew that we were on the right path, even if the road was tough. With unwavering faith in our vision and the support of our loyal clients, we turned the tide. Today, we serve 20+ clients each month, and our business continues to grow, creating both savings for our clients and economic opportunities in the community.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
One of the biggest misconceptions in the automotive industry is the claim by dealership salespeople that they incur losses when selling a vehicle. In reality, dealerships always aim to sell their inventory at the highest possible price, whether it’s the vehicle itself, financing options at high interest rates, or additional products such as maintenance packages, warranties, and gap insurance.
A customer buying a $10,000 car without full market awareness can easily end up paying $30,000 once all these add-ons are included. This not only creates financial strain but also erodes trust between the customer and the dealership.
At Car Concierge Pro, we counter this approach by offering transparent, ethical, and customer-centric services. Our goal is to ensure clients get the vehicle they want, at a fair price, while creating a mutually beneficial outcome for everyone involved. While the dealership model has its flaws, we work closely with dealerships across the U.S., Canada, and the UAE to foster better experiences for both customers and dealers. If I were to retire tomorrow, our customers would most miss the significant savings and personalized support we provide with every vehicle purchase. For instance, one client recently purchased a 2025 Mercedes G-Wagon G63, valued at nearly $600,000. Through our services, he saved over $100,000, a substantial amount that made a meaningful difference. Beyond the savings, he benefited from priority support, receiving his vehicle at his preferred dealership in under three months, while others often wait over a year and pay premiums without guaranteed delivery.
This combination of financial value, convenience, and personalized attention is what our customers truly appreciate. However, we are not going anywhere.
