Meet Zuleika Zaragoza of Beauty and Propaganda

Today we’d like to introduce you to Zuleika Zaragoza.

Zuleika, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Beauty and Propaganda were inspired by having to jump from appointment to appointment and go all over town to get beauty services done.

My sister and I wanted to create a modern beauty bar where we provide essential beauty services under one roof and decided to add the convenience factor of getting beauty services done at once. Which we call a New Way to Beauty.

This includes a blowout/manicure, blowout/pedicure, or dry style, and makeup at the same time.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Of course, it hasn’t been a smooth road.

Every business has its ups and downs in figuring things out and especially since we opened in January 2021 during the pandemic. I would say the hardest part is establishing yourself as a brand and getting your name in front of as many people as possible.

As you know, we’re big fans of Beauty and Propaganda. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Beauty and Propaganda is a modern beauty bar in Scottsdale – offering blowouts, manicures, pedicures, makeup, facial waxing, spray tans, and beauty on-the-go services.

We are known for our service called a New Way to Beauty which is the convenience and experience of getting two services done at once such as a blowout/manicure, blowout/pedicure, and dry style and makeup at the same time.

Brand-wise, we are known for our slogan of ” beauty is not a shape size, or color.” We are also, known for our modern and edgy branding and for staying relevant across social media platforms while showcasing our work on different age groups and ethnicities.

Wednesday/Thursday we offer Happy Hour Blowouts from 12-4 pm $45. For our 2-year anniversary on February 14th we are offering a Valentine’s Day event of light bites, and Prosecco, and if you book a blowout with a friend both of you will receive a $25 gift card (not valid on makeup and product).
