Meet Zachary Clark of Soul Tamale Media

Today we’d like to introduce you to Zachary Clark.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Zachary. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I’ve always had an interest in media and the arts. I really decided to buy my first camera in 2014. As soon as I bought it, all I wanted to do was figure out what I wanted to shoot first. My brother Elliott had recently left his corporate job to start his brand called the Apartment Bartender. I jumped at the chance to help him grow and be the one to manage his video content. We had a blast doing projects together. I couldn’t imagine it being any other way. Brothers building something together. As his brand grew, I decided I wanted to start my own brand. I couldn’t think of a name for my brand but when I dug a bit deeper, I would always think of Soul Tamale. That’s when Soul Tamale Media was born.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It was not a smooth road for me. Some struggles befell me and I had to step away from Soul Tamale Media for a time. It was rock bottom for me in the purest sense. I didn’t know if I was going to keep going with it. I had lost a lot of confidence in myself and I needed help to get out of the pit I felt I was in. When I decided to continue moving forward with Soul Tamale Media, I changed my business model. I was no longer just a guy who made cool videos. I realized that I have an expertise. I wanted to figure out how to help businesses increase their revenue within a short period of time using videos.

I created Soul Tamale Media to help businesses attract their most profitable potential customers. I specialize in helping you focus on finding your most profitable customers so you can stop taking on projects that give you little profit and take up a lot of your time. I can make it really easy for profitable customers to get to know you by telling them your story on video. People love stories and they love videos. And I love capturing those stories with SOUL. I’m most proud of the rapport I build with my clients. I want them to know they can always come to me and I’m going to be there for them.

What sets me apart is the way I go about helping my clients. They are the hero of their story and I make it a point to let them know that working with me is not about me. It’s about them. And I’m here to help them win business with my expertise.
