Meet Veronica Robinson of Keller Williams Arizona Realty in Scottsdale

Today we’d like to introduce you to Veronica Robinson.

Tenacity, dedication and a superior work ethic have defined Veronica Robinson’s real estate career. Growing up in a family of entrepreneurs, Veronica was taught the value of a hard day’s work and from a young age always knew she would be in business for herself.

Realizing the importance of learning from the best, she spent her first nine years in real estate being mentored by, working for and then alongside the industries’ top producers. Under their tutelage, she learned the art of negotiating, the importance of strategic marketing and organization, establishing a strong network of vendors and most importantly delivering unparalleled customer service to each and every client.

A DIY fanatic, Veronica is a huge asset to her clients on both the buying and selling sides. She has no problem rolling up her sleeves and personally helping her clients find simple and inexpensive solutions to garnering the most money for their homes as well as being able to envision the potential in any given property. Ask any of her clients and they will tell you, nobody works harder and smarter for their clients then Veronica.

Continual education is very important to Veronica. She has completed her business marketing degree with a focus on sports marketing at Davenport. A sports fanatic for most of her life, she became involved with an athletic organization in Alaska, (The Alaska Wild) an indoor football team, first as a cheerleader and eventually worked her way up to the assistant general manager.

Veronica and her husband love traveling, cooking, adventures, dancing and taking on DIY projects together. They are big on family and look forward to grow theirs. One thing is true about Veronica, she is never content with the status quo and is always trying to better herself, her systems and her offerings to her clients.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has definitely not been a smooth road. In this business, more often it’s like a roller coaster ride. Smooth sailing is the goal, much like para-gliding. I think my biggest struggle at the beginning of my work career was striving to be that “perfectionist.” Although it has its perks, it can also be one’s demise. It created more stress and me “spinning my wheels” rather than just diving in and getting it done.

When I decided to go on my own as a solo agent, my struggle was confidence! Am I enough? What do others see when they look at me? A kid or a respectable young adult? Is the value that I bring to the table, worth someone’s trust? Those were the questions that ran through my mind. Client after client, that confidence was boosted, because my clients are referring my services to their family and friends. If they didn’t trust my value, why would they refer me?

Lately, my struggle has been boundaries and work/life balance. It can be difficult to set boundaries with close personal relationships. Family is very important to me, and recent events for the past year has pulled me from my work. So finding that work/life balance, while striving to create a legacy can be a challenge. My solution is to do something, just one thing, that progresses me forward in that balance, and if that I can happen, then I’m happy!!!

Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I’m a Realtor and I’ve been in the business of real estate for about 15 years now. I absolutely love what I do. Helping others is my passion. I started my real estate career as an admin, which was great! It taught me all the back-end systems, to be organized, & how to build a foundation for success. The “wizard behind the curtain” if you will. Paralleled with superior customer service, it taught me to nurture and care for my clients’ needs.

I specialize in residential real estate, with Keller Williams Arizona Realty. I’m so proud to be a part of this amazing company. My office alone had over 1 billion in sales in 2018! Keller Williams makes the list of “best place to work” time and time again. The culture that is demonstrated is truly amazing. Every time I come into the office, I see our belief system:

Win-win: or no deal
Integrity: do the right thing (always)
Customers: always come first
Commitment: in all things
Communication: seek first to understand
Creativity: ideas before results
Teamwork: together everyone achieves more
Trust: starts with honesty
Success: results through people.

For me, it was a no-brainer on which company to align my business with. I feel that my company itself sets my business apart from other companies based on that belief system mentioned above. Me personally, I pride myself on providing superior customer service. I have more dedication, patience, and tenacity than most agents. I have found throughout the years, that most clients just want to know that you genuinely care about their needs, that they can trust what you say or do, and that the lines of communication are open. I feel with these three components, I’m well ahead of the pack. So, when you’re ready for your next real estate move or know someone who is… let’s chat. I’m here to help!

What do you know now that you wish you knew when you were just starting out?
If I had to start over, I probably would’ve joined Keller Williams sooner. It’s tough when you get jaded in this business. It can be hard to get back on track. I would’ve started with the basics and mastered them before going to get the “next shiny thing.” The basics are your database!!! Work and build your database, day in and day out. It truly is your gold mine. When technology fails, this system didn’t work, that system didn’t work, you will always have your database and a phone. Can’t go wrong there.

Doesn’t it seem so simple? Yet, we continue to look for other alternatives. We have a quote in one of our training classes, “Success is simple, not easy.” It’s true when you think about it. Success is simple, however, the dedication, the monotony of what it takes to become successful is the hard part.
