Meet Veronica Meyers

Today we’d like to introduce you to Veronica Meyers.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Veronica. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Since I was 18 years old, I had been working for someone else, but always had the dream to start my own business, and since time and money were against me for the most part, I always had to postpone it.

Starting a business would mean I would have to invest money and stop having a steady paycheck and I wasn’t quite ready for that until about two years ago after my daughter was born. I had a job that I liked. After four months of having her, she started going to daycare and immediately got sick. We faced a lot of difficulties and fears and decided I would quit my job since I didn’t have any sick days available and stay home full time with my baby girl.

I have always loved photography and my love started growing as I started photographing family and friends as a hobby. I knew then that photography was my passion and what I wanted to do as my career for the rest of my life and after deciding to stay home with my daughter, it only made sense to pursue my dream. It would allow me to raise her and also work. I make my own schedule and work on my own time.

My favorite thing about being a photographer is my client’s reactions after they receive their photos. I love how much happiness it brings people and that’s what I enjoy the most about it. And of course, capturing that moment they will cherish for the rest of their lives. My only regret is not having started it sooner.

Has it been a smooth road?
It’s been a smooth ride up to here. I’ve been extremely lucky to have only worked with amazing people.

We’d love to hear more about your work.
I’m a photographer and specialize in families, children, businesses, birthdays, headshots, couples, lifestyle and open to different client’s needs. I believe my photography and editing style has been getting people’s attention. I also hear from all my clients that they had a lot of fun at their photoshoots. Having fun + great photos = clients spreading the word about their experience with me.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
We moved to Arizona after a short time living in Scranton, PA and 15 years in Jacksonville, FL. I absolutely love it here. The weather is amazing, I love the big city feel that Phoenix offers and being far enough from it in Gilbert, a smaller city that still offers lots of options for our family. Love the desert vibe and scenery, makes my job so much easier having all the exotic, breathtaking backdrops for my photos.

Pricing:
