Meet Tuesday Tillis

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tuesday Tillis.

Tuesday, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I began back at the end of 2016, promoting for local popular clubs like The Roof Top Lounge and School Of Rock Located in Tempe, Arizona. I was promoting for prestige entertainment for a little close to a year, and in the time I fell in love with modeling. I began building my portfolio for the purpose of promoting but quickly began modeling for other photographers.

I moved on top working with great modeling consulting agency owner Mrs. Tiffany F Benson on her annual showcase the arts fashion show, and after that feeling walking down the runway, I knew modeling was my true dream. I later was graciously crowned 2017 Miss Arabella’s Pageant winner aka miss western chocolate. (Laughter) I picked my pageant name myself. From there the rest is history In the making.

Has it been a smooth road?
Wow, (Laughter) I have been in several magazines and was wondering when this question would occur. Honestly, it has been a roller coast. Sometimes this modeling world can get the best of you. You can feel like your number one model of the year and boom tomorrow there is a fresh new face.

Sometimes being a dark skin model I feel I get overlooked on some opportunities I reach out for. They always say we are looking for a certain look. I feel photographers could be more diverse. All shades of people are gorgeous and worth capturing. Sometimes I look on their Instagram page with millions of post of only one race, maybe two. It hurts, but I pray and remember I’m beautiful.

We’d love to hear more about what you do.
I am an all-around type of model. I do model ambassador work with great local companies like Sadidiwear Clothing and mitch Wayne clothing. I love marketing and socializing, so it goes hand and hand. And you can’t forget all the perks that come with it.

I also love runway modeling. I have walked in shows for prize lingerie, Sadidiwear, king stylez clothing line and more. And some show I have participated in consist of show like Arabella ShowCase The Arts 2016-2017, Urban Spice Magazine Annual Breast Cancer awareness fashion show located In Atlanta, Georiga, Africa to America Festival 2019 and many more.

Do you feel like there are certain traits that increase the likelihood of success?
I believe my willingness to become better with every obstacle as much as my willingness win I’m winning. I know you will be beautiful just like every other model out there but what will make them remember you. What will make them refer you to other opportunities? What will they remember about you?

Well, I hope with every experience I show my passion for the craft of modeling and speaking through my images. I hope they remember and say I am a joy to be around. I hope people refer me and they’re able to say she is reliable and professional. And I hope everyone remembers I loved what I do.
