Today we’d like to introduce you to Troy Pawleska.
Troy, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
All started as a project for a DJ friend of mine, helping him out with nightlife and events. I became so good at it bringing in half the people that showed up every night (roughly 500 People) that I decided to make a business out of it. I started working on nightlife and events and then Pages for Facebook came out and I was designing pages for businesses and running it for them. Today I am the marketing director for 50 businesses running over 100 events a year in 30+ cities growing every day.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It hasn’t always been smooth with marketing you have to throw a lot at the wall and see what sticks. I’ve tried hundreds of techniques and ideas only to get a handful of successful outcomes.
