Meet Trailblazer Sabrina Campa

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sabrina Campa.

Sabrina, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I come from a visual and performing arts world. I’ve spent a big part of my life developing my own unique style. A style that stems from a love of the arts and a passion for glamour. My unique style is clearly reflected in each product I carefully select. I am always on the search for quality tools and products that facilitate the creation of beauty and art. I was just like you working for the boss, coming into work and giving all my abilities to someone else’s dream. I’ve spent time behind the scenes marketing for others and using my artistic eye to help lash companies appeal to their client’s beauty needs. I have held various positions, from Manager to Artist, and found myself wanting more than ever to share my unique knowledge to empower others. My vision for The Lady Boss Beauty Co. is to reflect an artistic approach to each individual sense of personal beauty and the lash industry by providing tried and true, quality products that exemplify style and glamour. My aspiration is to provide artists with the right tools to become their own boss. I am excited about the journey ahead and building great relationships with fellow artists.

Has it been a smooth road?
I would not say it’s been a “smooth road”, but with every challenge, I’ve grown and learned something new. I would say the personal struggle is to not fall victim to self-doubt, and the common desire to take the safe way out. By this, I mean, of course, it would be easier to show up each day and feel safe working for someone else but we can’t all find satisfaction in the “safe” way out. For some of us, there is an ever-present voice in our conscience which tells us we must do more, be more, risk it… and be the boss of our own journey. After all, the beauty of life is reaching out and challenging ourselves and regularly proving to ourselves that we can indeed accomplish anything we can dream of. So, my advice to other young women or any woman or man starting a similar journey would be, believe in yourself and have the courage to pursue your dreams wholeheartedly. After all, the struggles are just bumps and potholes along the road to your destination of fulfilling your dreams. And, along the way, don’t lose sight of the joy of the journey and always remember, we each have the ability to be the “boss” of our lives and personal happiness.

I am a licensed esthetician who specializes in volume lashing and helping a woman feel beautiful and confident. I would say I am known for having a tremendous passion for beauty and perhaps, more importantly, helping others discover their own personal self-beauty. I really take pride in having my brand become an extension of myself. To establish my brand as a brand all young women can identify with. The Lady Boss brand is not only about unique and great quality products but also a brand of self-confidence and self-beauty. My brand represents a state of mind and belief in ourselves and a recognition of in the inner beauty present in each of us. I believe this vision and all-inclusive core value sets the Lady Boss apart from other beauty companies.

So much of the media coverage is focused on the challenges facing women today, but what about the opportunities? Do you feel there are any opportunities that women are particularly well positioned for?
I feel the opportunities for women today are endless. I see more women taking charge of there careers and sense of self-worth. I believe more and more women are uniting in spirit and continuously breaking down barriers to create their own opportunities. I find myself loving the world I live in more and more every day seeing the positive changes my generation has created. I feel particularly optimistic about the opportunities for women today and moving forward as we continue to position ourselves for great success and endless possibilities. I feel all women from all walks of life can do anything they set their minds to.
