Meet Trailblazer Elizabeth Becerril

Today we’d like to introduce you to Elizabeth Becerril.

Elizabeth, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I began doing background such as ads and music videos in 2007, at the age of 17. I worked with artists, promoters, and designers in misc projects. I was heavily into the alternative scene and very heavy into music as I am today. Particularly metal, and good old Fashion Rock N Roll. I hosted nightclubs and promoted various events in the nightlife aspect. I began to formulate many friendships and networked a lot at punk/rockabilly/psychobilly shows and I had a passion for car shows. My journey as a “metal” gal, slowly transformed itself into making my way into the world of Pinup. I had my first shot at a big car show, Mooneyes, in Southern California where I hail from. The rest is history. I have now been a Pinup model for approx 7-8 years and I plan to continue living out my passion for as long as my body and health allow me to. 🙂

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Not smooth at all! Whether it’s a hobby or your way of making a living, it takes passion and true dedication. I live this lifestyle day to day as it has never been a costume for me. I genuinely am a passionate lover of the art and strive hard to get what I desire. My advice is to ALWAYS STAY TRUE TO YOURSELF. DO NOT change a single thing that you love about yourself just because someone suggests you to. Be positive and do not tear others down as you venture into new opportunities. Stay humble and enjoy it. If it becomes a chore, drop it. Don’t be afraid to test your own limits! 🙂

Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I am a published Pinup Model. I have made my way into the rockabilly/lowrider/Pinup scene for almost ten years now. I have merchandise that exclusively promotes my art and the hard work put into my content that fans can see on my link website and social media. I love bringing the art to the light and continue to revive an era long ago, but not forgotten. I am always available for shoots for promotional purposes, clothing companies, and personal requests.

Which women have inspired you in your life?
My mother. That lady never gives up and she’s stubborn in a way were she settles for nothing and knows how much she can accomplish. I love her more than she’ll ever know! Hi, mom!
