Meet Trailblazer Breasha Swainston

Today we’d like to introduce you to Breasha Swainston.

Breasha, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
As a young girl, I always admired fancy sparkly nails and started playing around with polishes and designs on my own nails around 8 years old. By the time I was 18, I had gotten pretty good at DIY designs and knew I had a skill I could turn into a career. In 2013, I got licensed to do nails in my hometown San Diego California. After 4 years of building a name for my myself and a full clientele, a path opened up for me to start all over and take a new challenge learning and building more here in Phoenix Arizona!

Has it been a smooth road?
Relocating a business doesn’t happen overnight. I’m still in process of building my clientele back, but my patience and determination are definitely starting to wear off. It’s important not to lose your confidence when you’re in a position to prove yourself all over again!

We’d love to hear more about The Nail Bomb.
I specialize in Nail Art on top of both natural Gel Polish and enhanced Hard Gel nails. I’m most known for my hand painting and my skills are best showcased when given a simple theme or idea and given freedom to plan out your nails accordingly. I’ll even draw out a little sketch in my notebook before I put the finished product on your nails!

Which women have inspired you in your life?
My mom and all the women in my family for being great examples of hardworking and nurturing women.
