Meet Trailblazer Amandalyn Wulfert

Today we’d like to introduce you to Amandalyn Wulfert.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Amandalyn. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
My name is a mixture of one of my dad’s favorite instruments, the Mandolin, and my grandmother’s first name, Rose. I am a 22-year-old fashion and lifestyle influencer with a passion for adventure and living my life to the absolute fullest. My life motto is “Do What You Love”, a saying that my grams often shared with me, and that is what my Instagram represents. After leaving my job to finish up my degree at ASU, influencing became an outlet to express myself. It has turned into a career that has allowed me to share my favorite places, fashion tips, and just be myself with my loyal followers. Being my authentic self has given me the opportunity to turn my dream career into reality.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Nothing will ever begin as a smooth road. There were times where I did not feel like any of the work I was putting out was good enough. In the influencing industry, it is so easy to compare yourself to others. The best advice I can give for anyone in my industry is to just be yourself and don’t compare yourself to others. Everything takes time and if you continue working hard and doing what you love, it will all work itself out.

Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I specialize in Instagram Influencing and content creating. I have always loved fashion and creating unique looks that are out of the box. I have created my brand by forming an authentic audience via social media and exciting my followers with imagery of different outfits and ways to style certain looks. On top of that, I strive to express my personality and form a community with my following.

What’s the most important piece of advice you could give to a young woman just starting her career?
The most important piece of advice I would give to a young woman starting her career would be: do not be afraid to follow your heart, be nice to everyone, and take risks. If it was not for me leaving my stable career to finish school, I never would have had the opportunity to focus on my influencing. You never know what path you are going to be led down and who you are going to meet… be nice to everyone and don’t be afraid to follow your heart.
