Today we’d like to introduce you to Toni Abdo.

Hi Toni, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers. 
I moved from Lebanon in 2005 to Arizona. I earned my bachelor’s degree from ASU and started pursuing my career as a Nutrition and personal trainer coach.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I struggled at first with my language barrier as I had to learn English at night time after work while having to provide for my family of 3 beautiful daughters and my wife. I worked all day and had to go to school at night to earn my GED because I lived for 18 years during the civil war in Lebanon. We didn’t attend school as we were sheltered.
