Today we’d like to introduce you to Tina Patrick.

Hi Tina, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve always had a deep love and passion for animals, ever since I was little. I was that kid who wanted to help every stray or volunteer anywhere animals were involved. When I first discovered dog grooming, I honestly just fell into it by luck, but it instantly felt like home. I loved the balance of creativity, patience, and connection it takes to make pets look and feel their best. From there, I worked my way up, learning every aspect of grooming and pet care, and eventually took the leap to open Bark & Bubbles Pet Spa. My goal has always been to create a calm, one-on-one environment where pets can be pampered and parents can feel confident knowing their dogs are in loving hands.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
To be honest, I’ve been really fortunate. The journey has felt smooth overall because I’ve had such an incredible support system around me! From friends and family to loyal clients who’ve believed in me from the start. Of course, there are always learning curves when you run your own business, but I truly love what I do, and having that support has made even the tough days feel rewarding. It’s been more of a growth experience than a struggle.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
At Bark & Bubbles Pet Spa, I specialize in one-on-one, all-inclusive grooming. That means every pet gets my full attention from start to finish. No crowded salon, no rush, just a calm and loving environment where they can actually enjoy the process. I take pride in providing a full-service experience that includes everything from nail filing and teeth brushing to conditioning treatments and stylish finishes!

What I’m most proud of is the trust I’ve built with my clients. Many of the dogs who come to me were once anxious or fearful about grooming, and now they’re excited to walk through the door. That transformation means everything to me.

What really sets Bark & Bubbles apart is that we’re not just about grooming, but we’re about connection and care. I want every pet parent to feel like their dog is treated like family, because they truly are.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up, I was definitely that quirky kid who loved animals more than anything. I actually got my first cat by sneaking him into my parent’s house after getting him from a Walmart parking lot. I played clarinet in the marching band, which was such a fun and creative outlet for me. I’ve always had an outgoing and friendly personality. I love connecting with people and making them smile and I think that’s carried into what I do now. Grooming lets me blend that creative side with my lifelong love for animals.
