Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Allen.
Tiffany, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Fitness has been part of my life since I was a young girl. It’s always been an outlet for me, to get through struggles, to clear my mind, and just be a better version of myself. I went from competing in small competitions in grade school to being a forceful track athlete as well as a dance team competitor through high school. I believe that’s where I developed the “I can” mindset. As a sprinter, I couldn’t just rely on my skill to win a race, I truly had to push myself and believe I could win. Fitness became more important to my mental health through each chapter of my life.
I’ve been through a lot. I’ve lived in poverty, been homeless, had my son when I was a teen, on my own at 16, and all the while found a way to rise through my storms. I remember one moment when I was having a nervous breakdown. Being a full-time college student, plus working, and being a mom and trying to help my own mother go the best of me, I was so depressed I didn’t want to live anymore. I did what I knew best, I prayed and I as hard as it was I got up and moved. I ran. At that moment, I took control. I became mentally stronger.
Fitness along with my faith, helped me get through life. It became such a vital part of building a strong mind and in turn, I built a strong and toned body. I didn’t know that all the work I did on myself was, in turn, inspiring others. I started getting request from women to workout with them, to train them and if I could create workout plans. I turned down training so many times. I thought, how is this broken me, be inspiring others? How can I help them? Over the years, I kept getting requests to help women in fitness. I realized that my journey has led me here for a reason. I know fitness isn’t just about getting the body right, but it’s a part of being your best self and I want others to get through those tough times in life and to be there best through whatever they may face. So, I began coaching women.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Absolutely there have been obstacles in starting a fitness business. The first was fear. Fear of not being “ready” and that I don’t have what it takes to help women. Fear of charging. How do you charge for helping someone change their life for the better? Additionally, I’m still growing, still building, and figuring out how I can improve. Obstacles are inevitable but they will help me grow in the long run.
Please tell us about Tiffany Cherille Training.
My training/coaching is sports performance-based for all fitness levels from beginners through advanced. One of the best assets we have is our mind. The way we think is how we are going to move in life and how we will treat ourselves and others. I build strong mindsets and the physical results are a bonus from that. Whether you work with me one on one or receive a workout plan from me, you will dig deeper within yourself and uncover the woman you were always meant to be.
Tiffany Cherille Training currently offers in-person sessions and/or customized gym or at home workout plans including individual self-care coaching and access to community resources to help women become the greatest version of themselves.
My clients leave our sessions feeling empowered and confident. They get something more than just a workout with me and that makes me proud.
From the words of one of my clients, “Tiffany has helped me to build my confidence and get further than I have with any other fitness plan and helped to debunk my own myth that all trainers were the same. When she says you will receive a personalized workout plan, she absolutely means it! She takes the time to get to know her client, their needs and assess their strengths and areas of improvement along the way to consistently and continuously provide specialized and individual experiences to assist you with hitting and maintaining your goals. She pays great attention to detail and is determined to help you see all the small steps you’re taking that lead to your big goal. At no time have I ever felt belittled, disregarded or like I was just another number during any of our sessions. If anything, I have felt empowered, encouraged and brave solely based upon her encouraging words and her desire to see me win.” – Ki
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
One of my first loves was music. I sing and I would put on performances for my mom. She had these tall speakers that got so loud. I felt like I was giving a musical performance for thousands. She cheered me on. It was our bonding time and I loved those moments. I felt like a star.
