Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiana Hill.
Tiana, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Hi, my name is Tiana Hill. I am a yoga instructor, recipe creator, food lover and a vegan health and wellness lifestyle inspirer. My passion and mission is to empower people, myself included, on and off of the mat, to live according to their values and move in a way that is authentic and speaks to their truth.
On the mat, I create dynamic vinyasa flow classes while integrating precise alignment and meditation along with the spiritual aspects of the practice. I teach studio classes, private sessions, workshops and trainings.
6 years ago, I transitioned from the standard American diet and stopped eating land animals once I learned that 10 billion animals are slaughtered each year for human consumption. I soon stopped eating fish, dairy and eggs and now don’t consume anything that comes from an animal.
My intention is to teach others the tools necessary to transition to a vegan lifestyle and a plant-based diet. I love to bring yoga and veganism together to truly live a healthy lifestyle from the inside out. I live in Phoenix, AZ and share a home with my 2 children, 2 dogs and 7 pet chickens.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
When starting off in the health and wellness field and teaching yoga I struggled to find my niche. I started my yoga career teaching prenatal yoga because I personally really connected to my prenatal classes many years back. After teaching that style for a while, I decided I wanted to teach more of a vinyasa style class.
I spent many days and nights struggling to find my direction. After several years of pushing, I decided to let it go and just ease into my calling. And it actually happened very organically once I did that.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Live Well. Be Well. – what should we know?
Live Well. Be Well. is my brand and lifestyle company. Along with teaching studio and private yoga classes, I coach people on living a healthy life through food, movement and mindfulness. My students can access my classes via an online portal or attend in person workshops where they will learn how to transition to and maintain a happy healthier life with support along the way.

Everyone I cross paths with is a teacher and has been a part of my journey, from each of my yoga teachers to my yoga students. I learn something about myself every day with each interaction.
