Today we’d like to introduce you to Tequilla, Tara and Janet Swan.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Tequilla, Tara and Janet. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
As you may know we are a family business, a mother, and her two daughters. For years our family has had a niche for fashion and style and noticed that we have a different style, we enjoy standing out. Shopping was something we bonded over and an activity where we can all catch up and bond. Over the years as we shopped we found it tough to find unique pieces that no one else had, unless it was designer and very pricey. We’ve noticed that many places you go whether its brunch, church, an event, or a show you can find at least one woman wearing an outfit you have on or that you own. So we wanted to have a boutique that has carries unique pieces you won’t find in your local department store.

Tara the youngest daughter had a fashion blog where she would post other brands and bring traffic to their websites and we all love giving other women fashion tips. Whether it’s at church or at work, we always tell women where they can shop that compliments them and is affordable. Tara than thought since we all love fashion and giving other women fashion and style tips so much why not start our own boutique selling unique quality pieces that you can’t just find anywhere.

We feel that Fashion is important because what you wear really leaves an impression on people and often dictates how they approach you. There are many people that want to have style or want cute pieces to wear but don’t have the time to shop. So that’s where Klassy Kloset Boutique comes in and does the shopping for you and carries it on our online store.

Has it been a smooth road?
For the most part it has been a smooth road, but we are still early in this journey. Designing the website came with a few bumps and bruises, oh yes and ordering too much inventory, we had to learn to sample clothing to our audience rather than invest into a ton of pieces.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Klassy Kloset Boutique story. Tell us more about the business.
Klassy Kloset really is an online boutique that specializes in clothing that is not overly revealing, in a time where women are asked to show more to be relevant, we have chosen a different path. We definitely want to be current, but we want to do it where real women can wear and feel their best in our clothes. We are most proud of our clients from all over the country trusting us to dress them. What sets us apart is this is a family business with mom and her two girls, we have our own individual responsibilities in the business and it just works for us.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
The industry is rapidly changing our clients are going into brick and mortar stores less often, they want the ease of sitting on the couch and shopping for different clothes that everyone will not have. E-commerce is the future, so we are so excited about starting at a time like now.
