Today we’d like to introduce you to Taylor Gladden and Miranda Browitt.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Taylor and Miranda. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
We’ve been best friends for nearly nine years and at every gathering, Taylor has always volunteered to supply the Charcuterie. After years of it always being a huge hit at every party, it seemed like a no-brainer to turn this into business together. We both have extremely creative minds, and have a background in sales + working for start-up companies. We’re a dynamic duo who loves a good charcuterie spread.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
So far, I think we’re doing pretty good! It’s been a learning curve to figure out the right pricing, how much of each item to buy, what is TOO much food and what’s not enough, and just learning how to run a business in general. There is more work than we ever thought there would be! But we are loving every second of the journey.

Please tell us about your business.
Our dream is to curate and style beautiful charcuterie boards & grazing tables for all event sizes. Our tables are meant to both feed your guests and to “wow” them and help create lasting memories. Canapé & Co sources a wide variety of meats, cheeses, fruits, baked goods, spreads, toppings and other tasty treats from local suppliers. We then prepare a beautiful, curated grazing table on site for your event, using an array of serving decor and an artistic eye. We’re also able to prepare smaller boards for pick up or delivery.

Not only do we offer this creative catering alternative, but we also have various customizable decor packages that can help you bring your event to the next level. We are a hybrid, the best of both the catering and event styling worlds.

Being able to offer these custom styling packages and large grazing table options to match the theme/style of any event sets us apart from any competitors.

We are always SO proud to see our finished product, the joy on our client’s faces and to hear about how much they enjoyed everything we handpicked for them. It fills our hearts!

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Getting to show our family + friends what we had quietly worked on for a few months! Feeling how proud they were of us, made us feel so proud of our hard work! That, and booking our very first client AND our first double booked day!
