Meet Tasha Miller of Meant2Be Events in Scottsdale

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tasha Miller.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Tasha. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I was fortunate to find out what I wanted to do professionally at a young age from an unfortunate event that occurred in my life.

My dad passed away when I was 13, it was a painful time. Where I was seeking something to bring happiness to my life. When I returned to school we were to do a project on a career that interested us. I happened to be watching a movie which featured a wedding in it (no, it was not a movie based off a wedding just had a brief glimpse of one). It made me think, “I want to be around weddings as everyone is happy at a wedding.” With what I was going through, I just wanted to be around happy people and joyous occasions.

Fast forward after I graduated, I found a certification course to become a certified wedding planner. Then was hired at a wedding venue which I was there for ten years. I gained a lot of knowledge and expertise during that time. Also, it is where I met Regina and we became friends in the industry.

After the decade with the venue, I wanted to expand on the planning and design side of weddings. Which is when I partnered with Regina at Meant2Be Events. As I had always loved the company style and the way she conducted business.

Today, I feel so fortunate to bring happiness to families and couples by celebrating their love and bringing their vision to life.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
There are always struggles/challenges in a life path. Definitely was not a smooth road. Some to name…

Grinding through personal struggles and continuing my journey/passion for events. Growing up and learning/knowing your worth. Time management: personal/professional. Continuing education and moving with the times of technology.

Meant2Be Events – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
The company has been around going on about 12 years. Today, we are a team of creative, unique professionals dedicated to each events we are on. We pride ourselves on an innovative and creative approach to event planning. Bringing a unique, fun and unforgettable planning adventure. We have packages that range from Month Of to Full Planning. Our goal is to be there for the clients and vendors whenever they need us- to guide, laugh & create with them! The excitement & ease they have with us through the special journey is our real factor for success!

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Being able to do what you are passionate about that brings you happiness both in your personal and professional life. That also gives you the ability to make a living. Having happy clients that are all smiles at the end of their event and continue to refer your services based off their experience that they had with you.
