Meet Tanja Rasavong

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tanja Rasavong.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Tanja. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
My name is Tanja. I am married with two kids and grew up in Bavaria, Germany. I graduated Aesthetic school in 1998, and have been since working in a different spa, salon and medical settings in Europe and the USA. Due to my husband’s former military career, we had moved quite often and finally settled in Gilbert, Arizona in 2015. I absolutely love it here!

Ones we moved here, I had worked in a beautiful resort in Phoenix as well as an Aesthetic-trainer for a franchise wellness-spa in Gilbert and in Scottsdale.

In 2019, I finally made my dream come true by opening my own skincare suite where I can follow my passion is to help people with their skincare needs and to make them feel beautiful. I do offer a variety of customized facials, infused with naturally corrective ingredients and modern skincare tools. My speciality is helping teenagers and adults with their acne and helping them to clear skin. I became certified as an Acne specialist in 2014 through Face Reality, which is nationally recognized for its outstanding results.

In addition to that, I took advanced training in oncology aesthetics, lasers, lash lifts and tint and chemical peels. In my free time, I like to cook, travel and spend time with my family and my two rescue dogs.

Has it been a smooth road?
I always knew that I wanted to start my own business, which was challenging with my husband being in the military. Since we moved very often, I worked for different spa and medical settings in Europe and in the US during those times and was just waiting for the right time to open my own business. After 20 years in the industry, I am finally following my dream with my own skincare business. I first opened my doors in 2019 and I couldn’t be happier.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
I specialize in custom facials for all skin types and treating acne-prone skin. Each facial is fully customized to my client’s skin needs. I use only toxic-free and natural corrective products as well as modern skincare tools. I am dedicated to provide overall wellness to the mind, body, and spirit as a whole while including massage techniques, essential oils and reiki. I am a big believer in self-care for overall health/well being. If you feel good, you look good!!!

For my teenagers and adults that are struggling with acne, I am working with a program that consists of in-office treatments and a customized home-care regimen to get their acne under control. The success rate is very high, and we typically see a significant clearing in 3-4 months, depending on the skin type and grade of acne. Personally, I have struggled with cystic acne for a long time and understand the struggles! Ones I found the system that really worked, I made it my goal to help others, too with their acne.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I truly enjoy what I do and want to continuously provide skin care treatments and help my clients to achieve their skincare goals. In the future, I’d love to expand my treatment room and add a boutique, offering organic, luxurious, toxic-free skin and wellness products.
