Meet Tammy Fritz

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tammy Fritz.

Tammy, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I’ve been dancing as long as I have been walking. I enrolled in modeling/acting school in 8th grade. I started go-go dancing in 2010 at festivals, concerts, and nightclubs. That’s where most of my confidence came from. From there I started doing more modeling. Photoshoots, fashion shows, and calendars. I am currently pursuing more acting roles, so I can really challenge myself. I am also in the process of writing my first book.

Has it been a smooth road?
Self-doubt has been and is still a big challenge for me. It tops everything else. It’s true what they say – you are your biggest critic. All the other stuff is easy to deal with. But nothing and no one will stand in your way more than your own self.

Tell us more about your work.
I’ve been doing a lot of concept shoots with my friend Francis Lazaro (@franzlazaro_), which are really fun to bring our ideas to life and tell stories through photographs.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I look back at how much the industry has changed over the past decade, and it has quite a bit. With social media and technology progressing everyday, I can imagine that in 10 more years there will be a lot more ways we can network, and get more bookings. Hopefully eventually the quality of our art won’t be judged by the quantity of our likes or followers.
