Today we’d like to introduce you to Steve Feld.
Steve, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Born and raised in Denver, then moved to Phoenix in 1991 for the heat. Steve Feld, Coach, Author, Professional Speaker, and award-winning Business Management Executive. Over 30 years of extensive senior-level experience in highly competitive industries. An expert in all aspects of change management, operations, business development, marketing, sales, HR, customer service, and finance. I have a large passion for everything business.
I have created and owned six high six figure businesses, operated three other businesses generating anywhere from $20 to $35M in gross revenue. Operated divisions for three brand name Fortune 500 companies. Those have included being a COO/CFO for a large non-profit organization, director of global merchandise for the Harlem Globetrotters, General Manager for Rawhide an 1880’s Western Theme town.
Today, Business owners hire me to monetize their marketing. Because, most are lacking leads, conversions, and financial success. So, I help them exponentially increase their leads, revenue, and align their core marketing message to their target client/customer with laser focus.
The bottom line, solid leads are the lifeblood to grow a successful profitable business.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Creating and building businesses is never a smooth road. By being prepared for unknown and known challenges on the journey is vital. Surrounding yourself with great mentors, advisors, and coaches will help you get through those challenges.
Many struggles have usually be related to staff and vendors. How you handle those issues is the key. I cannot stress enough to take the time when hiring anyone for your organization. Have a detailed plan on how to interview them with great behavioral based interview questions, a solid onboarding and training program, and to meet with them regularly no less than once a month for a review in which they are running the review.
As for vendors. Vette them in the best way you can. Ask for references, negotiate the terms before starting with them.
Tell us about your company. What do you do, what do you specialize in, what are you known for, etc. What are you most proud of as a company? What sets you apart from others?
My current company is Coach Steve Feld. Business owners hire me to move their business into positive results through a strategic marketing and sales plan, installing sound systems and procedures within the business, analyzing expenses and HR to improve the bottom line, and enhancing their leadership skills to be the best leader they can be.
I am passionate about working with business owners assisting them to achieve their goals and dreams faster then they could on their own.
I know for having proven systems in place that the business owner can use as well as my personal experience with owning, operating and building businesses. I am result focused, which keeps the owner on track to move their business forward and set it up for long-term success.
What I am most proud of, is working with dedicated business owners and seeing first hand the unbelievable results they get by working with me. It’s such as great feeling seeing a business owner that is struggling and within a few months, they are seeing some major upticks in their business. My favorite part of seeing these transformations is that the business owner will finally have a chance to take a vacation-something they usually have not done since they started their business.

Since I have owned and operated multiple businesses in a variety of industries, I do know what the business owner is going through. I do know what it feels like – the highs and the lows. That has been a major key to getting results for my clients. How can someone be a business coach that has never owned or operated a business before. You have to know what it feels like to be in their shoes.
