Meet Stephen Spears

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Stephen Spears.

Hi Stephen, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Joseph and I grew up together and, from a young age, were always taking apart and building computers. Neither one of us saw this as a profitable skill. It was just something we loved doing. After nearly a decade of working in various capacities in the startup world, I finally had the realization that the most successful people I knew where the ones building their careers on the things they were passionate about.

While living in the Midwest, a small IT company took me under their wing.

This opportunity refined my technical skills and ignited my passion for creating a warm and approachable experience for clients. Joseph and I both found our way back to the valley in 2020 and decided it was time to launch our own IT company, and we haven’t looked back. So often, interacting with people in the IT field feels impersonal, cold, and downright frustrating; it is our goal to disrupt that stereotype and make IT needs the least stressful part of your business.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Although it’s been a lot of fun, this journey has not been without obstacles. Joseph and I are both the sole supporters of young families, which means we are always juggling the needs of our growing business with the needs of a growing family.

It has also been a process to find software companies that match the level of quality and integrity that we want to offer our clients. It is a priority to us that the values of the companies we are sourcing from align with our own, so our clients have the best possible experience from start to finish.

I appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
We are an IT-managed service provider supporting small and mid-sized companies of all types in the Greater Phoenix area. Currently, some of our clients include law firms, multi-campus churches, insurance companies, and even a ballet studio.

We love helping our diverse clientele find what they need to make their unique business run smoothly. In addition to providing general support, our specialties include cyber security, onsite or cloud servers, and networking.
